Cost/Manufacturing Accounting Lead (South Carolina)

About the role

Global manufacturing company with its US HQ in South Carolina is looking to hire for a very unique (and newly created!) role that will report directly into the US CFO. This position will serve as a trusted business partner to the executive team in providing strategic financial leadership and manufacturing cost analyses, while also leading an SAP implementation.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage an ERP (SAP)-driven cost controlling organization
• Deliver standardized processes and accurate cost allocation
• Directly supervise and develop a team of controlling staff
• Execute manufacturing cost calculations and contribution margin accounting
• Ad hoc reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• MUST have 6+ years experience in cost/manufacturing accounting experience
• SAP experience mandatory (implementation experience highly preferred!)
• CPA/CMA a plus (not necessary)

Schedule

This is a hybrid role and will have in-office requirements 2-3x per week (greater Charleston area).
