About the role

We are seeking a Cost Estimator - Hollow Metal to join our dynamic team. This position involves putting together the numbers behind successful bids for commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Read and analyze specs and construction documents to understand project requirements.
• Use estimating software to price out materials.
• Work closely with vendors to obtain product information and accurate pricing.
• Collaborate with coworkers and departments to develop strong bid strategies.
• Identify potential issues or opportunities to strengthen bids.
• Help refine our pricing systems and adapt to industry changes.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers.
• Good communication skills – email, phone, and face-to-face.
• Ability to read and work from electronic and paper documents.
• Organized and capable of managing shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the construction estimating field.

Qualifications

• Must be based onsite in Green Bay, WI with regular and punctual attendance.
• No direct construction experience required. Training provided to the right candidate.
