Cost Engineer

Essential Duties

• Assemble daily and weekly production documentation control reports.
• Perform cost analysis and spend tracking to monitor project costs and revenue, and forecast final financial outcomes.
• Auxiliary in or perform generation of project budgets and monthly forecasting within company-supported cost control software.
• Utilize company-determined processes and practices to document, track, and report costs on assigned projects.
• Collaborate with the project management and project controls teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
• Support integration of company systems to track, monitor, and control costs.
• Maintain job cost report against key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Auxiliary in project close-out procedures by validating final revenue prior to final bill submission.
• Audit accounting systems between company and owner systems to ensure accuracy.
• Support the financial audit process on assigned projects.
• Generate, analyze, and submit monthly reporting.

Education And/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
• 3+ years of experience in the construction industry, quantity tracking, or engineering required.

Compensation

$80,000- $110,000 per year.
