Cost Analyst/IT

About the role

The primary responsibility of a Cost Analyst/IT at Champion Homes is to analyze and manage project costs, ensuring budget adherence and identifying cost-saving opportunities. This role requires a strong understanding of financial analysis and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analyses to forecast project costs and monitor actual expenditures against these forecasts.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and maintain accurate project budgets.
• Identify potential cost savings through process improvements and recommend changes to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management on a regular basis.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost analysis or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for complex financial modeling.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience with financial software such as SAP or Oracle.
• Understanding of IT systems and their impact on project costs.
