This position will have high-level exposure and be expected to interact with senior management to provide strategic analysis and advice for key decisions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing operations, utilization, standard costs, unit cost variance, cost of goods sold, WIP, and finished goods.
- Lead presentations for blended cost rollups, assumptions, consolidation, and KPIs.
- Partner with cross-functional departments, including engineering, R&D, supply chain, corporate, and global plant locations.
- Lead budgeting and financial modeling using Microsoft Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables, formulas).
- Collaborate with manufacturing operations to develop standard costs and work with BOMs.
- Develop the annual budget, periodic forecasting, internal and financial reporting, and prepare detailed budget schedules (operating expense, capital expenditures, sales, margin, profitability, headcount, etc.).
- Report key performance indicators (KPI), dashboard metrics, and ad hoc projects.
- Perform physical inventory reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.
- Handle miscellaneous month-end adjusting journals (sales, COGS, labor, materials, and overhead allocations).
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cost accounting or related field.
- Advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables, formulas).
- Experience with Anaplan and SAP or other large ERP software.
- Some light travel may be required.

Pay
$140,000–$175,000 base salary, plus bonus.
