Cost Accounting- Assistant Manager (Inventory & Product Costing)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain product costing and cost sheets.
• Calculate and monitor raw material, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods costs.
• Perform inventory valuation and reconciliation on a regular basis.
• Analyze material, labor, and manufacturing overhead costs.
• Conduct cost variance analysis and identify areas for cost improvement.
• Afford monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities related to costing.
• Cook with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure accurate costing data.
• Prepare cost reports and management information as required.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

• Experience: 2-3 years
• Education: Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting
• Skills: Cost accounting, accounting, costing and budgeting, costing, financial-analysis, management accounting, basic accounting, budgeting and cost estimation
