Ranpak is seeking a Cost Accountant to join our dynamic team and drive smarter decisions, optimize performance, and fuel growth across the business.
What You’ll Own
- Analyze raw materials, labor, and inventory to uncover insights that drive efficiency and profitability.
- Bridge Finance and Operations by collaborating with Engineering, Product Management, and Purchasing to develop machine costing and support new product initiatives.
- Maintain fixed assets, reconcile general ledger accounts, and support audits with detailed schedules and roll-forwards.
- Lead with Precision: Ensure accurate revenue recognition for automation projects and manage internal projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
- Support Innovation: Help planners close production orders, track labor hours, and manage internal projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
- Be a Cross-Functional Hero: Partner across departments to ensure item master accuracy and contribute to special projects that make a real impact.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting (CMA or MBA a plus!)
- 3–5 years of cost accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or automation environment.
- Proficiency in SAP and Excel, with a knack for turning data into actionable insights.
- A collaborative spirit and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
