Cost Accountant – Manufacturing

The Cost Accountant – Manufacturing role supports plant operations by developing and maintaining standard costs and analyzing manufacturing and inventory costs. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries for monthly close, partnering with planning, sourcing, and production teams to ensure accurate material, labor, and overhead costing. This role investigates cost variances, supports inventory cycle counts and reconciliations, and provides data-driven insights to enhance efficiency, compliance, and profitability. Working onsite and reporting to the Plant Controller, this position collaborates closely with various departments to optimize cost management and operational performance.
