Cost Accountant

We're looking for a Cost Accountant to join our Finance team in Delaware City, DE. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working with data, understanding how a manufacturing operation works, and turning financial information into meaningful business insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs and budget-to-actual results
• Prepare production and cost analysis reports
• Support product costing, pricing, and profitability analysis
• Help identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities
• Support inventory and cycle count activities
• Assist with month-end and year-end close
• Support annual budgeting and financial audits
• Work with the Finance team and other departments to improve cost reporting and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• SAP or other ERP experience is a plus
• Manufacturing or cost accounting experience is a plus
