Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and maintain standard costs, variances, and inventory valuations
- Prepare and analyze cost reports related to labor, materials, and overhead
- Support month-end close with inventory and cost-related journal entries
- Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
- Affirm budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis
- Sustain accurate BOMs, routings, and cost structures within the ERP system
- Support internal and external audits related to inventory and costing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–6 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, Oracle, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial teams
