About the Role

Paul Mitchell the School Sherman Oaks is seeking a qualified Learning Leader to join our team. This position is located in Sherman Oaks, CA. Clinic and classroom Learning Leaders plan and facilitate classes from an accredited and approved curriculum specific to Paul Mitchell Schools. The objective is to meet graduation requirements for hands-on and theoretical knowledge in a fun and engaging classroom and clinic classroom. Our school plans classes that cater to all multiple intelligences and learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate classes from accredited and approved curriculum
• Meet graduation requirements for hands-on and theoretical knowledge
• Inspire, inspect, and coach team members in all clinic floor systems including up-selling, rebooking, and guest service systems
• Think on your feet and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
• Multi-task effectively

Requirements

• Experience instructing at a cosmetology school or adequate experience in the industry
• Current California state cosmetology license
• Excellent organization, coaching, and communication skills
• Skills in supervision, teamwork, documentation, and return on investment
• Solid work history with verifiable references
• Passion for the beauty industry
• Honesty and professionalism

• Knowledge in Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems
• Successful previous teaching experience and strong leadership skills
• Experience with Paul Mitchell products
• Self-motivated to meet goals
