Cosmetologist - Good Samaritan - Albert Lea and Austin - FT - Day Shift
Job Summary
Provides beauty services for all resident, patients, and tenants while maintaining all infection control and hairdressing standards. Displays a customer-oriented focus and compassion to ensure patients/residents feel welcome and cared for. Assists with shaving patients'/residents' heads if patient/residents desire. Assists patients/residents with recommending, selecting, adjusting, and fitting wigs. Educates patients on proper wig care and preservation techniques. Responsible for displaying and managing wig selection. Works with a range of ages from children through geriatrics to meet unique patient/resident wants and needs. Creates and maintains a relaxing environment that nurtures patient/resident safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous Retail and Cosmetology Experience is Preferred
- Licensure with the Board of Cosmetology in the state(s) of practice is required
