Patient Care
Dental Assistant responsibilities include:
- Attend morning meetings prepared to review patients for the day.
- Pull patient history, what was done last appointment, and what is being done for the day off appointment.
- Ensure all proper work has been completed prior to the appointment.
- Turn on compressors and gas.
- Make sure all chairs are down and TV’s and headphones are working.
- Review patient records to be properly prepared.
- Select and set up needed instruments, equipment, and materials.
- Welcome patients by greeting them by name.
- Prepare patients for treatments and ensure their comfort.
- Assist dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
- Take all necessary records for appropriate procedure.
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked.
- Properly send off patients by walking them to front desk staff.
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed, ensuring that prescriptions are fully executed.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a dental assistant

Pay
- $85,000.00 per year
