Cortez - Open Pit Maintenance Frontline Supervisor, Drill & Shovel

The Open Pit Supervisor at Nevada Gold Mines is responsible for ensuring all planned maintenance activities for the truck and support fleet are executed safely and efficiently. This role involves tracking maintenance, conducting inspections, and supporting operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in the maintenance of large, open-pit mobile equipment, in a planned maintenance environment required
• Two (2) years of experience working in maintenance supervisory or lead role demonstrating increasing responsibility preferred
• Demonstrate ability to use Microsoft Office, Oracle, and dispatch systems preferred
• Excellent leadership skills required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Willingness to cross train in Maintenance Planning required
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively with maintenance technicians and other site personnel required
• Demonstrate ability to perform the essential functions of this job required

Requirements

• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role
