Cortez - Assay Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of ore samples, process samples, and exploration samples.
• Utilized in fire assay, wet laboratory, and operation of analytical instrumentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience in an analytical laboratory preferred.
• Familiarity with chemicals and laboratory procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of computer operation required.
• Exemplary safety and attendance record required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. without reasonable accommodations required.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and prioritize a heavy workload required.
• Able to communicate effectively with peers in a team environment required.
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
