New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, is seeking a Corrosion Technician II for our Northern Division to design, coordinate, maintain, and monitor cathodic protection systems for distribution mains and services in accordance with company policies and applicable federal regulations. Ensure system integrity, regulatory compliance, and the timely and accurate maintenance of cathodic protection records and documentation. Position Location: Onsite in Rockaway.
Responsibilities
- Monitor cathodically protected gas distribution mains and services to ensure the effectiveness of corrosion control programs and compliance with company standards and federal regulations.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and coordinate the repair of damaged or malfunctioning cathodic protection system components, including diagnosing shorts, breaks, and other system deficiencies
