Corrosion Technician

About the role

You'll be out in the field protecting critical energy infrastructure, collecting corrosion measurements, evaluating system conditions, and helping ensure the long-term safety and reliability of pipeline systems. Responsibilities

• Collect corrosion measurements and evaluate system conditions
• Use specialized testing equipment to assess infrastructure
• Learn industry-leading corrosion control practices
• Work alongside experienced professionals to build technical skills
• Gain hands-on experience with corrosion control techniques
• Travel throughout the region to work on diverse projects
• Develop expertise that can lead to advanced certifications and future career opportunities

Requirements

• An appropriate technical degree or background
• 0–2 years of work experience in corrosion, petrochemical, or related industries
• Basic computer skills related to the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• NACE CP1 certification
• Ability to pass client OQ exams

Pay

This position pays between $30 and $37 hourly and is an non-exempt position. The specific amount within this range will be influenced by the work location and various factors such as internal equity, professional skills, work experience, and pertinent education or training.

Schedule

This is a 100% field-based position, giving you the chance to work on diverse projects, travel throughout the region, and develop expertise that can lead to advanced certifications and future career opportunities. You'll be home every night—enjoying the excitement and variety of field work without the extended travel schedules often found in similar roles.
