Maintain safety and security
Maintain safety and security: Search for contraband, monitor assigned areas, and help keep the facility secure.
Supervise daily routines
- Count, feed, and supervise inmates in housing, work, and other assigned areas.
Observe and respond
Provide custody and security through ongoing observation and appropriate communication and discipline.
Document accurately
Prepare and maintain required records, forms, and reports.
Disseminate information
Read, review and properly apply information found in inmate records. Provide appropriate information to other personnel.
Support facility operations
- Assist in areas such as commissary, property, transportation, recreation, mail room, laundry, visitation, booking, main control, housing, segregation, intake, administration, or food services as assigned.
Education and License Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
- A valid Ohio driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required, unless waived by management.

Pay and Schedule
- $23.09/hr + $1.00/hr shift differential (6:00p-6:00a)
- 12-hour shift (Nights or Days)
- Bi-weekly schedule (4 on/4 off/3 on/3 off) + Overtime
