Description
Examples of Duties:
- Receives & processes prisoners coming into the facility by completing appropriate forms & paperwork, recording identifying information, searches prisoners, logs & stores personal items, fingerprints & photographs prisoners.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent certificate.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be able to successfully complete the SC Criminal Justice Academy within the first year of employment & pass the physical requirements set forth by the SCCJA.
- Must pass an extensive background check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
