Correction Officer Trainee

About the role

Correction Officer Trainees are required to participate in, and satisfactorily complete, requirements of a 12-month training program before advancing to Correction Officer. As part of the program, you will attend the Correctional Services Training Academy for a minimum 8-week formal training program.

Responsibilities

Custody and security, as well as the safety and well-being of incarcerated individuals in state correctional facilities, shock incarceration correctional facilities, work release centers and a drug treatment campus.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• No prior experience required

Qualifications

Salary range: $61,365 - $101,269
