Correction Officer - Part Time
Essential Functions
- Enforces all the rules and regulations of the jail;
- Maintains the safety and security of the general public, facility staff, and inmates;
- Takes custody of new arrivals;
- Escorts inmates to various parts of the jail facility.
Pay
Pay Range: $19.04/hr - $21.10/hr (Depending on DOC Certification and job experience)
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED;
- A valid Pennsylvania driver's license;
- Completion of training from the Pennsylvania State Correction Academy to become DOC Certified.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Successful completion of a criminal background check;
- Successful completion of a drug and alcohol screening;
- Successful completion of a reference check.
