Corporate Wellness Intern - Fall 2026

Job Summary

Exos is seeking high-performing individuals for its 12-16 week internship program. The internship is 20+ hours per week, onsite with a specific client in San Antonio, TX. As a Corporate Wellness Intern, you will gain knowledge and experience in a highly skilled corporate wellness environment.

As a Corporate Wellness Intern You Will:

• Learn from the best in class human performance professionals on how to develop and refine your coaching skills
• Shadow, observe, and participate in the programming and services offered to corporate wellness clients
• Conduct fitness tests and evaluations
• Aid in planning and implementing health promotion and incentive programs
• Provide safe and effective exercise programs and group exercise
• Gain exposure to high-risk member management and injury prevention
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the Exos Methodology through weekly educational sessions, lectures, presentations, and practicums
• Receive practical training on developing linear and multi-directional movement skills, applications, and program designs
• Have the opportunity to earn the Exos Fitness Specialist Certification (XFS)

Internship Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program studying exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, or related field
• Program must accept course credit in exchange for an internship experience
• Must be passionate about working with the active/athletic population
• Must have current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications (certification can be sought during the application process)

Internship Logistics

• You will need to find, secure, and fund your own housing for the duration of the internship
• You will need to book and fund your travel and relocation to the location of your internship prior to the start date
• You will need to fund all food and transportation costs for the duration of your internship
• You will need to confirm course credit through your school advisor
