Role Overview

We are seeking a Corporate Vice President, Foundational Business (FB) Communications, to join our team. Reporting to the VP and head of FB Communications, this individual will develop and advance strategic internal and external communications plans and initiatives for the company’s Foundational Business, with a focus on supporting the EVP and select members of the leadership team. This role is responsible for shaping and articulating executive voice and vision across multiple channels, aligning messaging internally and externally, and ensuring storytelling supports the company’s strategic direction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a nuanced understanding of the executive(s) leadership style, strategic priorities, and communication preferences.
  • Translate this insight into clear, compelling messaging that authentically represents the executive’s voice across all engagements.
  • Create and adapt content for a variety of platforms including internal communications, keynote addresses, leadership forums, external partnerships, and digital channels.
  • Ensure message effectiveness and resonance across audiences and formats.
  • Foster cohesion between internal and external messaging, aligning communications to support company-wide initiatives, enhance agility, and reinforce a unified narrative.
  • Lead proactive storytelling efforts that position the executive—and by extension, the company—as thought leaders in the industry.
  • Identify timely opportunities and craft narratives that elevate the corporate brand.
  • Translate sophisticated business strategies and technical concepts into high-impact, accessible language for diverse stakeholder audiences.

Requirements

  • 12-15 years’ experience in executive communications, corporate messaging, or strategic content development.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Deep understanding of leadership dynamics and corporate strategy.
  • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to anticipate communication needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

Pay

Salary Range: $160,000-$200,000. This is an exempt, overtime-ineligible role. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and may participate in an incentive program. Actual base salary will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and job location.
