Corporate Vice President - Cloud Site Reliability Engineer Leader

Responsibilities
- Drive the team towards excellence in the solutions they develop and deliver
- Manage and monitor the efficiency of the team, identifying and developing opportunities for improvement
- Identify opportunities for the use of GenAI and Agentic AI within the scope of the team’s responsibilities, freeing the team to focus on more important work
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, drive engineering best practices, and collaborate closely with software development teams
- Modernize and normalize the fleet of application systems with a focus on resiliency and reliability, operational excellence, availability, operational excellence, security, and cost
- Be a leader within the organization by setting the standard on the use of automation, including IaC, CI/CD Pipelines, and Artifact Management
- Build and mature self-service infrastructure provisioning capabilities that allow application teams to consume approved AWS infrastructure patterns within enterprise guardrails
- Architect, provision, and maintain cloud resources using Terraform, Harness, Jfrog, and other enterprise platforms
- Reduce manual toil by building robust deployment pipelines and automation using Harness CI/CD
- Set Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs); track error budgets to balance feature delivery with system stability
- Lead triage and resolution for high-severity production issues, conducting blameless post-mortems and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (e.g., Amazon CloudWatch, NewRelic)
- Drive infrastructure resiliency and participate in disaster recovery planning and validation in partnership with application and operations teams
Requirements
- Trusted and respected as a thought leader who can influence and persuade business and IT leaders and IT development teams to adopt automation and delivery pipelines
- Displays empathy for the software development community and champions continuous improvement to optimize the end-to-end software delivery process
- Partner with the Cloud Platform, Development Tools, Security, and other technology teams within the organization to drive roadmaps to enable the SRE team
- Create and maintain a culture of open communication, trust, excellence, and recognition
- Ability to translate cloud architecture, security, compliance, and governance standards into scalable infrastructure patterns and automated engineering solutions
- Proficiency and experience with Terraform HCL (IaC)
- In depth technical knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS Services, Terraform, and one or more software development frameworks
- 8+ years in IT/DevOps/SRE with 3+ years in a technical leadership or senior role
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience
- One or more AWS Professional Certifications, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred
- Practical experience in developing and deploying ML/AI driven developer experiences
- In depth technical knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS Services, Terraform, and one or more software development frameworks
- 8+ years in IT/DevOps/SRE with 3+ years in a technical leadership or senior role

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $185,000-$264,500
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
