Qualifications And Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of corporate travel experience, including booking international travel.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with SABRE; experience with other Global Distribution Systems (GDS) is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of rural air travel and ferry transportation throughout the State of Alaska.
- Experience booking Medicaid travel within the State of Alaska.
- Familiarity with Fly America Act and Open Skies Agreement requirements.
- Due to client requirements, candidate must reside in the United States.
- Mid-office Quality Control Experience Is Preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Work assigned shifts within a 24/7 operational environment, maintaining flexibility when needed.
- Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Operate within company standards related to customer service, productivity, quality, and operational procedures.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the travel industry and Alaska travel logistics, including proficiency with applicable CRS/GDS systems.
- Utilize Preferred Vendors To Maximize Company Profitability.
- Apply sound judgment to solve problems and make fact-based decisions.
- Identify and suggest process improvements that benefit the team and organization.
- Ensure client travel policies are followed and properly documented.
- Accurately build, update, and manage Passenger Name Records (PNRs) and complete ticketing requirements.
- Maintain compliance with airline rules, regulations, and industry requirements.
- Meet departmental goals and performance objectives.
- Document lost savings opportunities for applicable reservations.
- Maintain punctuality and readiness for scheduled shifts.
- Assist management with monitoring expenses and controlling operational costs.
- Participate in required training programs to maintain and enhance professional knowledge.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings.
- Assist with follow-up related to client feedback, service concerns, or customer issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Keep management informed of significant matters and perform other duties as assigned.
