Corporate Tax Manager - Methods, Credits & Incentives
About the role
As the Tax Manager of our Corporate Tax Services Methods Credits & Incentives practice, you’ll design, implement, and execute accounting method studies and fixed asset reviews for clients. You’ll collaborate with Corporate Tax leadership and use specialized tax resources to conduct Tax Accounting Method, Tax Inventory, Fixed Asset, R&D, and Meals and Entertainment consulting services. From day one, you’ll lead, develop, and mentor engagement teams while participating in marketing and sales to ensure projects meet firm standards, deadlines, and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct client engagement fieldwork, including site visits, fact investigation, tax computations, and preparation of written memorandums summarizing findings.
- Manage multiple client projects and tasks simultaneously, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Lead and participate in professional development and training sessions.
- Participate in sales presentations for existing and prospective clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Financial Engineering, Management Science and Engineering, Financial Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Research (preferred).
- CPA or legal background (JD, LLM) required.
- Five+ years of relevant work experience in a Tax environment, preferably in a Big 4 firm, comparable public accounting firm, or consulting firm.
- Intermediate understanding of tax return mechanics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in project management, including time management, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.
- Solid abilities to analyze and summarize data accurately.
- Experience working as a productive team member.

About the Team
