Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Consult, recommend and implement appropriate solutions for digital appointment scheduling using established best practices for physicians, practices and hospital facility workflows
  • Recommend and implement correct calendars that align with the referral strategies of the stakeholder and Parallon
  • Configure and validate API scheduling integrations for each electronic medical record (EMR) across HCA Healthcare at the provider and practice level
  • Actively communicate and develop relationships with HCA divisional and corporate leadership
  • Resolve and document technical support issues using Service Central and ensure incidents are completed or escalated within established service levels
  • Provide feedback to department leadership regarding training opportunities, process improvement, and scheduling best practices

Qualifications

  • A knowledge level generally obtained through completion of a high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent in demonstrated work experience
  • 3 years of experience utilizing computer software in a support or help desk role
  • PREFERABLY, knowledge of physician practice workflows, patient scheduling systems, and HL7 messaging
  • Communicates clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • Establishes and maintains long-term relationships, building trust and respect
  • Utilizes HCA enterprise applications to analyze and triage issues
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, Excel, Word, Visio, and Power Point
