Corporate SH&E Specialist

About the role

Safety Health & Environmental Specialist responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant work environment by inspecting and evaluating workplace conditions, equipment, and practices in accordance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and implement SHE procedures, training programs, and content to promote continuous safety improvements.
• Lead SHE projects.
• Provide safety training to internal departments and external contractors.
• Support environmental compliance efforts.
• Perform and review risk assessments.
• Interact with auditors and inspectors.
• Foster relationships across departments, remote sites, and vendors.
• Involves occasional travel and requires a proactive approach to safety and environmental initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Life Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of one year relevant experience in military, healthcare, manufacturing, or corporate environments.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication, training, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead projects and perform risk assessments.
