Corporate Security Officer
The Role And What You’ll Do
Performs responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies and procedures, including protection of company employees, visitors and company assets.
Maintains a safe and secure environment at the corporate office facilities.
- Maintains and utilizes daily logs, and the badge system for monitoring the ingress and egress of employees, visitors, vendors and contractors.
- Produces a Daily Activity Report at the end of the shift.
- Communicates over the phone effectively; by informing or directing callers.
- Assists the receptionist in their duties.
- Maintains and monitors the CCTV system and alarm systems as necessary to ensure the security of the corporate facilities.
- Completes numerous security patrols around the corporate facilities during the course of a shift, to ensure the integrity of the facility.
- Completes interior and exterior checks.
- Completes Incident reports by recording observations, information, and surveillance activities.
- Interviews witnesses and obtains signatures in a timely manner.
- Escorts and supervises employees off property when terminated.
Acts in relation to co-workers, visitors and the general public in a manner consistent with the best interest of the company.
Maintains appropriate grooming and uniform standards. Overall appearance is to be immaculate and professional at all times.
Keeps confidential, all information pertinent to the professional and private business of Company functions and employees.
Maintains proper and detailed communication with law enforcement, fire and EMS.
Maintains proper and professional communication with Executives, Executive Assistants, and Executive guests.
Responds in a timely and effective manner to any and all emergency situations.
Maintains availability and flexibility to work numerous events that are UFC and non-UFC related; hosted at our facilities.
Security Officers are responsible for reporting any suspicious activity to their supervisor.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
You Have These Abilities:
- To communicate effectively with Company Executives, co-workers, visitors, vendors and management in both written and verbal form.
High School diploma or successful completion of a GED Certificate.
- Associates or higher degree preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Preferred two (2) years in Security, Law Enforcement or the Military.
CPR/AED Certification is required.
- Demonstrate and understand management’s goals and objectives.
Must have a working knowledge of, and be able to be trained to fully utilize, all functions of an alarm system and security monitoring equipment.
- Adequate computer skills with a working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and various other software programs.
Must not have been convicted of any crime for which registration is required pursuant to NRS 179C.
- Maintain a valid Nevada driver’s license.
Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.
