Ballard Spahr LLP, which recently combined with Lane Powell PC, is seeking a highly qualified associate to join its expanding Securities & Capital Markets practice in Seattle or Portland.

Responsibilities

• Compliance and reporting for public companies
• Capital markets transactions
• Public company M&A
• Corporate governance

Requirements

• Distinguished academic credentials
• Excellent communications skills and attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of ’34 Act, ’33 Act, stock exchange rules, and other relevant regulations and laws

Qualifications

• Active bar license in the location for which you wish to be considered

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Outstanding interpersonal and client service skills

Pay

The salary range for this position is from $230,000 – $305,000, which reflects the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
