Corporate Recruiter I

About the Role
The Corporate Recruiter I will identify, recruit, and hire talent that supports the growth of Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for corporate positions, partnering with hiring managers to attract and select top talent while providing an exceptional candidate experience. The Corporate Recruiter I will support a variety of corporate departments and manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume recruiting workload, prioritizing multiple openings and hiring managers while maintaining recruiting service level expectations.
- Successfully manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines to support ongoing and future high-volume hiring needs.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, position requirements, and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Source, identify, and recruit qualified candidates through multiple channels including ATS, employee referrals, professional networking, job boards, social media, and career fairs.
- Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to assess qualifications, experience, and organizational fit.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process, ensuring timely communication and a positive experience.
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews, candidate travel arrangements, and reimbursement processes as needed.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within the applicant tracking system and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external talent pipeline.
- Attend campus recruiting events, professional networking events, and career fairs to promote employment opportunities and strengthen employer branding efforts.
- Assist with recruiting projects, process improvements, and other Human Resources initiatives as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in HR or HR-related field a plus.
- 1-3 years of recruitment experience preferred.
Skills
- Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR-specific software knowledge a plus.
- Soft Skills: Willingness and ability to learn from other departments, good verbal and written communication skills, strong time management skills, strong organization skills, can-do attitude, sense of urgency, ability to take constructive criticism, and strong work ethic.
Physical Demands
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
