Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain an active driver's license and clean DMV history
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at the front desk pertaining to people or property, including packages
• Control access for employees, visitors, or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Provide detailed incident, hourly, maintenance, and daily activity reports
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Marksman Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel, or restaurant position
• Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid California Security Guard Card
• Strong computer skills
• Exceptional written communication and grammar proficiency
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, and working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual considered a plus
• Day, evening, overnight, holidays, and weekend availability required

Pay

Positions starting at $24.00 per hour depending on experience, location, and position.
