Corporate Partnership Sales
About the role
The Oklahoma City Thunder is seeking a relationship-driven sales professional to join their Corporate Partnership Sales team. This role involves collaborating across the organization to create customized partnership solutions and focusing on building long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to secure six- and seven-figure corporate partnerships while building long-term relationships with key decision makers
- Manage existing corporate partner relationships
- Identify, qualify, and cultivate executive-level decision makers through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and creative outreach
- Collaborate within partnership sales, activation, strategy, and cross-functional teams to achieve departmental and organizational goals
- Develop and implement in-market and retail promotions to add new value for clients
- Deliver exceptional client service to foster strong relationships and drive partnership renewals
- Build and nurture community relationships by actively participating in events
- Market and sell integrated corporate partnership programs to local, regional, national, and global businesses
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations
Requirements
- 4-5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a complex sales pipeline using CRM platforms, sales technology, and collaborative business tools
- A flexible and reliable approach, prioritizing the best interests of the department and organization
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior executives and leading business conversations
- Familiarity with partnership activation, sponsorship sales, and sports and entertainment marketing practices
- Experience conducting market research and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop strategic solutions, and communicate value effectively
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for occasional local travel
- Physical responsibilities may include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- The work environment may involve both indoor and outdoor activities in various weather conditions, as well as exposure to loud crowd noise, amplified music, and flashing or strobe lighting during events and games

Schedule
Full-time, regular office hours and game-night responsibilities, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
