About the role
A leading global financial services organization is seeking a highly organized and proactive Corporate Paralegal to join its in-house legal team. This position offers broad exposure to corporate governance, legal operations, regulatory support, contract administration, and strategic departmental initiatives. The successful candidate will serve as a key partner to attorneys and business stakeholders, helping to improve legal processes, maintain critical records, coordinate governance activities, and support a variety of enterprise-wide projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys both traditional paralegal responsibilities and operational project work.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys with the preparation, review, administration, and tracking of confidentiality agreements and other routine legal documents.
- Manage corporate governance records, legal entity documentation, board materials, and related organizational filings.
- Coordinate legal operations projects, process improvements, and implementation of legal technology solutions.
- Maintain legal databases, document repositories, and records management systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with regulatory filings, legal research, and various compliance-related initiatives.
- Review legal invoices, track outside counsel expenses, and collaborate with internal stakeholders on departmental priorities and special projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of paralegal, corporate governance, legal operations, or related in-house legal experience preferred.
- Experience supporting legal departments within financial services, asset management, banking, insurance, public companies, or other highly regulated industries is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of corporate records management and governance practices.
- Excellent written communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal technology platforms.
- Experience with entity management, board management, contract lifecycle management, regulatory filings, or legal operations tools is a plus.
