About the role
The Corporate Operational Controller directs the operations accounting function for Rosendin, a leading EMPLOYEE-OWNED electrical contractor. This role oversees the operations accounting for the organization and manages a team of 2–4 Assistant Controllers.
Responsibilities
- Owns the complete revenue and margin recognition cycle, enterprise-level over/under billing strategy, and full-cycle cash flow forecasting.
- Synthesizes KPIs to identify enterprise trends, assesses organizational risk, and communicates net income and overhead forecasts for all operations to senior leadership.
- Reviews project revenue and cost projections with Operations Managers and supports leadership in planning for shifts in project volume.
- Led succession planning, hiring, and onboarding for the operations accounting team, ensuring full role utilization and professional growth through delegation.
- Establishes internal control frameworks and departmental policies. Drives automation and the integration of new financial technologies.
Requirements
- Expert-level GAAP knowledge, specifically ASC 606 for long-term construction projects.
- Sophisticated understanding of EPC, Electrical Subcontracting, and Manufacturing business units.
- Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Business Suite or similar ERP packages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 15 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in construction.
- CPA or CCIFP certification strongly preferred.

Pay
$222,400.00 - $291,800.00 annually.
Schedule
General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs. Travel up to 20%.
