About the role
This role provides hands-on experience in event planning, employee engagement, and marketing program execution while supporting key initiatives that strengthen Lennox’s brand and culture.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and executing internal employee events such as company celebrations, department meetings, and engagement activities.
- Support event setup, coordination, and on-site execution to help create positive and engaging employee experiences.
- Contribute ideas to enhance event participation and overall employee engagement.
- Help gather feedback and insights to improve future events.
- Support the execution of marketing programs such as intern initiatives, employee recognition efforts, and internal campaigns.
- Aid in creating and updating marketing materials, including event communications, emails, and digital content.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent messaging and branding across initiatives.
- Assist with campus branding initiatives, including employee engagement activations and environmental branding projects.
- Help support branded merchandise programs, including organizing materials and assisting with event needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on marketing initiatives and projects.
- Take on special projects that provide exposure to different areas of marketing.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in event planning, marketing programs, and employee engagement.
- Creative thinker with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Entry Level.
- Developing professional knowledge in the area of expertise.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Pay
The starting pay range for this role and market is between $19.00 – $22.00/hour. This rate is based on the intern's current year in their respective university programs. Graduate students may receive a higher rate of pay based on their year in school.
Schedule
Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
