About the role

Axiom is seeking Corporate Governance Attorneys to work with publicly-traded and Fortune 500 clients across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

Advise on corporate governance, securities, and public company compliance matters, including SEC and stock exchange requirements.
Support Board of Directors and committee activities, including preparing agendas, resolutions, minutes, and governance materials.
Draft and review SEC filings and corporate disclosures, including proxy statements, Forms 10-K/10-Q/8-K, and Section 16 filings.
Advise on governance policies, entity management, shareholder matters, and corporate transactions in partnership with legal and business teams.

Qualifications

6+ years of legal experience focused on corporate governance, securities, and/or public company matters.
Experience advising on SEC reporting, securities regulations, Board governance, and corporate policies, preferably with public companies.
Prior in-house experience preferred, with experience partnering with senior executives, Boards, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Active attorney license in good standing with a U.S. state bar.

Pay

The estimated total compensation for this full-time attorney role is $104,500–325,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
