Axiom is seeking Corporate Governance Attorneys to work with publicly-traded and Fortune 500 clients across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on corporate governance, securities, and public company compliance matters, including SEC and stock exchange requirements.
  • Support Board of Directors and committee activities, including preparing agendas, resolutions, minutes, and governance materials.
  • Draft and review SEC filings and corporate disclosures, including proxy statements, Forms 10-K/10-Q/8-K, and Section 16 filings.
  • Advise on governance policies, entity management, shareholder matters, and corporate transactions in partnership with legal and business teams.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of legal experience focused on corporate governance, securities, and/or public company matters.
  • Experience advising on SEC reporting, securities regulations, Board governance, and corporate policies, preferably with public companies.
  • Prior in-house experience preferred, with experience partnering with senior executives, Boards, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Active attorney license in good standing with a U.S. state bar.

Pay

The estimated total compensation for this full-time attorney role is $104,500–325,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
