Corporate FP&A Senior Analyst/Manager

About the role
NCS is seeking a key financial planning & analysis (FP&A) senior analyst or junior manager to support the company’s growth, margin, and liquidity goals. This position will handle forecasting, budgeting, reporting (variance and trending analysis), cost savings programs, strategic and board-level presentations, business trend evaluation, project support, liquidity management, pricing, and costing analysis. The role supports both corporate and divisional FP&A tasks and offers an excellent learning opportunity for an up-and-coming finance analyst.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, cost of sales, and expenses.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends, analyze root causes of unexpected variance, and work with leaders to develop and track corrective actions.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and in-depth analysis to support the Senior Management Team and department heads.
- Leverage CRM and operational data to support sales pipeline reporting, bookings-to-revenue bridge analysis, and commercial forecasting.
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and related presentations for the Board of Directors and Senior Management Teams.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process, gather critical budget information, and work with divisional stakeholders in budget review sessions.
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Analyze complex financial information to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations for decision-making.
- Work cross-functionally to develop accurate forecasts while understanding key drivers and execution risks.
- Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, tools, and reporting by simplifying workflows and enhancing data visibility.
- Partner with internal business unit heads to provide financial analysis and forecasting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-6 years’ experience in FP&A or transaction services advisory roles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with Tableau and/or BI tools is a plus.
- Experience with ERP Systems, specifically NetSuite, is a plus.
- Experience with manufacturing businesses is a plus.
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high emotional intelligence.
- Proactive and responsive approach to identifying business opportunities.
- Outstanding analytic skills, intellectual curiosity, and ability to engage with senior leaders on complex issues.

- High degree of initiative in developing tools and reports to drive the business forward.
