About the role
The Corporate & Foundation Relations Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the fundraising team. This position requires a combination of operational excellence and development support. Key responsibilities include:
- Keeping systems running tight and accurate in Salesforce.
- Honoring gifts with care and speed by producing acknowledgment letters and documentation.
- Supporting the Director and Corporate Development Officers in preparing proposals, presentations, and partnership decks.
- Tracking and managing the CFR team's grant and reporting calendar.
- Cultivating and stewarding relationships with partners through briefing materials, meeting notes, and documentation.
- Developing and evolving a stewardship toolkit to reflect consistent care across the partner portfolio.
- Conducting ongoing prospect research to identify foundation funding opportunities and drafting letters of inquiry and first-stage applications.
- Maintaining accurate records of all grant activity in Salesforce.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in nonprofit development, grants administration, fundraising support, or a closely related field.
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Nonprofit Management, Communications, English, Business, or a related field.
