Corporate Engineering Manager

Direct hire opportunity in the Atlanta, GA area with a large food manufacturing company.

Salary range: $140,000–$160,000 plus bonus. Travel for this role is approximately 50% (domestic).

About the role

This hands-on manufacturing leadership position oversees major engineering and facility projects across the organization, including line installations, equipment upgrades, plant improvements, and infrastructure initiatives. It is not a desk-only engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage capital projects, plant construction, and equipment installations.
• Oversee line installations, equipment upgrades, and plant improvement initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Handle vendor management, budgeting, and project planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience in food manufacturing (baked goods experience required).
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC skills.
• Experience working in GMP and food-safe manufacturing environments.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
