Engineering Manager
About the role
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of approximately 10 engineers across platform, infrastructure, backend, and related engineering disciplines.
Set technical direction for Exiger’s cloud platform, including AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes-based application delivery, Terraform/IaC standards, CI/CD, observability, and operational practices.
Define short-term and long-term platform priorities and ensure active projects align with engineering and business goals.
Partner with application engineering teams to provide reusable platform capabilities, self-service workflows, documentation, and operational standards.
As an organizational resource to unblock and enable multiple engineering teams across diverse platform and infrastructure challenges.
Lead major platform initiatives that improve reliability, scalability, security, developer productivity, and cost efficiency.
Install and promote a culture of learning, engineering excellence, ownership, and platform accountability across engineering.
Own standards for runbooks, platform documentation, incident response readiness, and operational knowledge sharing.
Guide CI/CD, deployment, rollback, testing, and self-healing architecture improvements.
Partner with AWS account teams and internal stakeholders to evaluate AWS services and influence adoption where appropriate.
Contribute to planning, staffing, and financial decisions that support the long-term success of the platform team.
