Job Overview

This position develops, designs, conducts, and coordinates training programs for employees and learners across the organization. It requires a solid knowledge base and experience with instructional needs assessment, design and evaluation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates knowledge and application of instructional design skills, adult learning principals and education practices.
  • Uses professional resources, evidenced based sources and best practices to source relevant and industry validated program content.
  • Conducts learner assessments as indicated to guide curriculum development and design.
  • Demonstrates design creativity and methods that engage all learning styles.
  • High proficiency with MSO and other training or design software as indicated.
  • Applies instructional delivery and group facilitation skills in the delivery of training.
  • Skilled using a variety of training methods, practices, technology and tools.
  • Effectively engages learners in the learning process.
  • Skillfully manages difficult classroom situations.
  • Effectively and efficiently manages all aspects of program logistics.
  • Effectively problem solves when unexpected situations occur minimizing or avoiding disruption to learners.
  • Conducts level I, II and II evaluations for training programs as needed, compiles and reports on results.
  • When indicated, assumes department accountability for designated program(s) or offering(s).
  • Exhibits flexibility and/or initiative in seeking or accepting additional assignments.
  • Adjusts schedule as indicated to meet team, customer and department needs.
  • Utilizes time wisely and efficiently.
  • Effectively manages multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and is effective with resource management.
  • Demonstrates ongoing professional growth as an individual contributor and team member.
  • Participates in continuous learning activity and demonstrates learning agility.
  • Achieves and maintains relevant credentials to support area of expertise.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Equivalent Experience Accepted In Lieu Of Degree
  • Adult learning principles
  • Educational program development
  • Personal computer applications
  • 3-4 years experience
  • Professional in Healthcare or training, related to the area of education being supported
