Essential Functions
- Manage and maintain the electronic and hard-copy document control system, ensuring all documents are accurately indexed, stored, and easily retrievable.
- Oversee the entire document lifecycle, including creation, review, approval, distribution, revision, and archival/disposal of controlled documents (e.g., policies, procedures, work instructions, forms, specifications).
- Ensure all document control processes adhere strictly to the requirements of the company's certified ISO standards.
- Participate in internal and external ISO audits as the subject matter expert for document control.
- Process and track all document change requests (DCRs), ensuring proper authorization and impact assessment before new revisions are released. Maintain a comprehensive revision history and audit trail.
- Provide training to employees on document control procedures and the effective use of the DMS. Act as the primary point of contact for all document control inquiries.
- Maintain the Master Document List (MDL) or equivalent register, ensuring it is current and reflects the status and location of all controlled documents.

Work Environment

- Production setting

- Outdoors exposed to changing and/or extreme weather conditions (for instance, rain, sun, snow, wind, humidity, etc.)
Physical Demands
- Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative or production/technical nature
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position.
- Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift.
- This position often requires overtime.
Travel
- No travel requirements for this position.
Required Education And Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a dedicated document control role in an ISO-certified environment.
- Experience with eDMS platforms and compliance requirements.
Preferred Education And Experience
- Associate or Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and audit processes.
- Experience supporting multi-site document control programs.
- Basic personal computer skills.
Computer Operations
- Basic personal computer skills.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
- Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Card).
