Corporate Director of Procurement
About the role
Pacific Retirement Services is seeking a Corporate Director of Procurement to lead and strengthen procurement practices across the organization and its affiliated organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing, purchasing, vendor selection, and contract negotiation efforts across multiple entities and locations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and align purchasing practices across communities.
- Manage supplier relationships to support service quality, cost effectiveness, and strong vendor performance.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve reporting, reduce costs, and strengthen procurement practices.
- Support purchasing activities, including requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, shipping and receiving information, and related system documentation.
- Monitor procurement trends, vendor performance, open purchase orders, back orders, and late deliveries to help ensure timely resolution and accountability.
- Provide guidance and support to Purchasing Technicians to reinforce consistent processes, service standards, and follow-through.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, or contract management experience.
- Experience supporting a multi-site, matrixed organization preferred.
- Demonstrated success negotiating enterprise supplier agreements and managing contract lifecycles.
- Strong understanding of procurement operations, purchasing systems, financial processes, and internal controls.
- Experience with ERP/purchasing systems, Microsoft Office, reporting tools, and procurement technologies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

Pay
$148,000 - $165,000 annually, depending on experience with consideration for geographic location.
Schedule
This role may be performed remotely, with candidates based in Oregon, Washington, California, or Arizona.
