About the role
The Corporate Development team at Google works collaboratively across functions to identify, evaluate, and negotiate acquisition and strategic investment opportunities. This role involves understanding the industry landscape, providing insights to the management team, and leading the due diligence process.
Responsibilities
- Research industry trends, engaged landscape, and internal product development efforts.
- Identify, evaluate, and value acquisition and investment opportunities.
- Develop ecosystem relationships and attend events to understand key trends/perspectives.
- Help drive management team decisions and support agreement negotiations and execution.
- Interface with Google product and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or venture capital or private equity within the technology industry.
- 2 years of experience conducting industry research or analyzing market trends.
- 2 years of experience with due diligence documentation and legal frameworks.
- Experience working in the internet, communications, e-commerce, or cloud industries.
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience understanding and consulting on different financial models existing across the industry.
- 4 years of experience working in a consulting or venture capital organization including experience with legal terms/procedures.
- Google product knowledge and strong cross-functional perspectives.
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills, including experience building financial models and valuing companies.
- Strong attention to detail; exceptional people management and communications skills, business judgment and work ethic.

Benefits
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $123000 - $177000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
