Corporate Counsel, Business Conduct & Ethics Investigations
About the role
Amazon’s Legal Department is looking for an attorney with significant experience in corporate investigations and compliance programs to join its Business Conduct & Ethics Investigations Program.
Responsibilities
As Corporate Counsel, you will monitor, supervise, and independently conduct internal investigations involving potential legal and regulatory issues, including fraud allegations. The ideal candidate must be a strong communicator adept at working with multiple stakeholders to navigate complex investigations and deliver results. You will also help design, administer, and support our Business Conduct & Ethics Investigations Program. You must be able to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and changing environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
Preferred qualifications include experience in a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work, as well as experience in fraud/risk investigations.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $153,900.00 - $208,200.00 USD annually, with additional sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
