Corporate Communications Leader
About the role
The Corporate Communications Leader will serve as a trusted partner and communications advisor to internal stakeholders across the business, delivering creative, thoughtful communication solutions that drive company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver employee communications that drive engagement and strategic alignment across business units and supporting functions.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute strategic and integrated communications plans in alignment with the Company and Business goals.
- Plan, edit, and write content for a variety of internal employee communications, including PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, intranet content, and external channels, including social media and website.
- Leverage social media for communications.
- Manage a global communications calendar and rhythm for the assigned business unit, ensuring consistent framing and delivery of messages are aligned with the broader enterprise.
- Be the liaison between the business and broader global corporate communications team, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance and connect employees to activities at the business and enterprise levels.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Company’s history and vision, products, and organizational culture.
- Enhance our company culture through relevant, frequent, engaging internal communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading internal and employee corporate communications in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Superb verbal, writing, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to capture key thoughts and communicate authentic messages concisely throughout the global organization.
- Proficient in PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage all communication vehicles, multimedia strategies, and tools to address unique audiences.
- Adept at managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional professional presence with a strong understanding and ability to manage multiple complex business issues.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and provide counsel to a variety of stakeholders.
- Proven track record of adapting communication styles to the situation.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work on tight deadlines and create integrated communication plans.
- Ability to simplify complex messages, be proactive in addressing questions that might arise, and understand the communication needs of a global audience.
