Corporate Client Correspondent Banking Associate
Your Responsibilities
- Build and interpret complex financial models to support client coverage activities and transaction analysis.
- Perform advanced financial analysis and complete credit and financial statement analysis with minimal oversight.
- Create high-impact presentation materials (pitch decks, prospecting materials, client updates) using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; ensure accuracy and consistency with brand standards.
- Understand capital structures and capital market trends and translate implications to client needs and recommendations.
- Support execution of Debt Capital Markets (DCM) and Equity Capital Markets (ECM) advisory transactions in partnership with product teams.
- Cook up integrated financing solutions and pitch materials for clients; support cross-sell opportunities across the platform.
- Manage and maintain models and presentation materials so they are accurate, current, and tailored to the audience.
- Work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment; communicate status, timelines, and next steps across stakeholders.
- Develop strong working relationships with peers, product partners, and senior bankers throughout the organization.
- Provide day-to-day oversight and direction to Analysts and CAP participants to drive a high-quality work product and professional development.
Minimum Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred.
- 3–4 years of experience in Banking, Investment Banking, M&A, or Capital Markets (strong Analyst performance required for internal promotion).
- Strong credit underwriting and corporate banking skills.
- Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of financial modeling.
- Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written.
- Series 79, and Series 63 licenses required within Fifth Third guidelines.

- Ability to obtain and maintain required securities licenses in accordance with company policy.

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
