Corporate Chef

About the role

The Food Service Management Company specializes in School Food Service/Child Nutrition and is seeking a Corporate Chef to join its growing management team. K-12 experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train head chefs and other kitchen positions.
• Stay updated on trends in the restaurant and food service industry to maintain a successful business.
• Oversee culinary management.
• Plan and create menus for corporate events, meetings, and gatherings.
• Create and develop recipes, manage kitchen staff, monitor food quality and safety, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Manage inventory, food costing, and purchasing.
• Supervise and schedule employees.
• Make decisions regarding culinary operations, food quality, sanitation standards, and food and beverage departments.
• Willingness to travel to different school locations throughout NJ and PA.
• Conduct chef programs and training sessions.
